EXPERIENCE
8/07 – present	School District U-46; Elgin, Illinois 8/07- 6/08 Elementary Band – Taught fifth and sixth grade band students in small group lessons as well as full band setting of more than eighty students. 8/08 - 6/10 Middle School Band– Taught elementary and middle school band at Canton Middle School and its respective elementary feeder schools. Program has more than doubled in two years, and a jazz band has been implemented that meets during the school day. 9/09 - 11/09 Marching Band - Percussion Arranger and Clinician for the U-46 Thanksgiving Day Parade Marching Band (students combined from Bartlett, Elgin, Larkin, South Elgin,and Streamwood High Schools). 8/09 -10/09 Marching Band - Percussion Clinician at Bartlett High School.
8/04 – 8/10	Naperville North High School; Naperville, Illinois Clinician – Directed, taught, and wrote parts for the marching percussion section and front ensemble.
1/08 – 4/08	Green Thunder Percussion (presented by The Cavaliers); Rosemont, Illinois Teacher – Responsibilities included instruction of six bass drummers from around the Chicago-Area. Directed students in advanced percussion techniques along with higher-level musical thinking.

2007 – present	Illinois Music Educator’s Association; Mokena, Illinois 2007 – Percussion Judge for IMEA District I Honor Band Auditions. 2009-present – Clinician for the IMEA All-State Honor Band Percussion Section.
2006, 2007, 2009	VanderCook College of Music’s Annual Day of Percussion; Chicago, Illinois Adjudicator – Judged and provided clinics for a wide range of percussion ensembles including middle school concert percussion, high school concert and marching percussion, and college percussion ensembles.
